Ahhhhhhhhhh………… we’ve enjoyed our few days off.
Well, when I say days off I actually mean being locked in a darkened room and not being allowed out until we’ve written some new material.
As you can tell by my typing here – we’ve been allowed access to the interweb as well as being given a day pass to play ‘Party in the Park’ last weekend. Everyone that came to support us were given a special preview of one of our new tracks: Silent Treatment.
Even though the weather could have been better there was a great atmosphere at Grove House Gardens and, so that the crowd didn’t feel alone; Rom, Rob and myself all came from underneath the shelter of the tent to join in getting rained on – we’re sure that Steve would have stood with us if wasn’t for the small matter of his drum kit. Subsetters – we are all one!
We’ve just got some finishing touches to add to the other two new songs and, judging by the way we’re going right now, we may even have some more before we hit the stage at The Bridgehouse II for our second showing in the Surface Unsigned competition.
What?
You still haven’t got your tickets yet?
Here’s the easiest way – buy your tickets via PayPal and we’ll cover the postage to you – how about that for service?
So – now you have no real excuse
The show is on a Saturday, you’ve plenty of notice because it’s not til June 5th, and we’re even trying to sort out a mini bus or cabs to take you lovely Subsetters from the venue to Moorgate at the end of the night so that you can easily get a tube, taxi, train or bus home.
All we ask in return is that you are there and that you vote for us
More details about this leg of the Zimbalam Surface Unsigned competition can be read here.
Come back soon for news of our next shows…… the next gig is on May 28th…….
