The facts and figures have now been released but the important thing is that Subset are now through to the Semi-Finals of the Surface Unsigned competition! 
The venue for round two was in an odd place; a post-apocalyptic industrial estate in Canning Town, and we are aware of some Subsetters not managing to find Bridgehouse 2. Thank you for trying and everyone at Subset HQ realise that this must have been a diabolical test orgainsed by Surface Unsigned – the swines!
Inside the building it was hot and sweaty and it was hard work to put on the usual Subset show – but the lads were as active as always.
Lovely Steve was battling on against the heat as well as having an injured right arm and all credit to him for not giving up even though he was close to passing out at points.
Subset came away with a respectable 270 points and you Subsetters were the second largest crowd there on the night and sent in the third largest amount of texts – well done lads and lasses!
Rom, Rob, Steve and Jay have to keep reminding themselves that most of the bands that they’ve been up against in this competition so far have been together for at least twice as long as they have – Subset have got this far after gigging for 18 months! That is a huge sign of your support and the growing numbers of the Subsetter Army!
Now it’s time to keep Wednesday, August 4th free in your diary. We have booked the 8:30pm slot and need you, your friends and friends of your friends to come to The Purple Turtle in Camden to dance around and vote for Subset – after this round is the Regional Showcase and then the National Showcase (the final) at the O2 Arena!
