Hello there wonderful Subetters!

As you probably already know if you follow SUBSET on Facebook, Twitter, are on the mailing list or were actually there at The Purple Turtle on Wednesday evening – the fuzztastic four was chosen by the industry judge to go through to the regional finals of the Surface Unsigned competition!

Rob, Rom, ‘Lovely’ Steve and Jay ‘The Sheriff’ still can’t believe that they’ve managed to get this far – as Rommstein put it:

“We only signed up for the competition to get a gig in North London but now we don’t wanna let the Subsetters down”.

All the lads have been blown away by the growing support from all you Subsetters – from the very orignal crew to the people that made the semi final their first SUBSET gig. It’s you folk that have got the guys trough those first three rounds and you have brought them so close to getting to play at the IndigO2 – Imagine that!

But, before we all get too carried away there’s the rather important matter of this regional final to take care of.

This is an all-day event seeing 13 finalists battle it out at The Dome, Boston Arms Music Rooms in Tufnell Park on Saturday, September 4th.

At the Regional Showcases the boys will play in front of a panel of independent industry guests and to get SUBSET through they need your text votes as well as you cheering them on because there’s a committee of industry guests to impress as well!

SUBSET HQ is still waiting to get the time slot so keep the date free, tell your friends, pets and random strangers that they need to be there and to vote SUBSET!

Let’s see if we can push your favourite fuzz rockers through to gig at the O2 – who wouldn’t want to see what antics Rom can get up to on a stage that size?
