Here’s another quick update from Subset HQ just so that you all know what’s happening.
As well as getting some more airplay there’s been a couple of pleasant surprises since the last post.
The first one happened in Newport Pagnell – as the guys started to unload their gear into The Cannon they noticed a banner proclaiming ‘Acoustic and Folk Music’. They looked around the place a little concerned to see that the rest of the acts were indeed carrying acoustic guitars.
Equally confused onlookers watched as a full drum kit and amps were dragged into the venue.
The lads fronted it out, hit the stage and won the audience over – even the people sat practically beside Lovely Steve were cheering.
The other unexpected occurrence was that the Fuzztastic Four have had another ‘Single of the Week’ accolade – this time in Serbia! Yup, a Serbian blog posted ‘Ambrosia’ along-side tracks by The Drums, Bombay Bicycle Club and Evil 9 as their stand-out single. Hvala!

This week sees Subset hit three well respected venues in a row:
- Thursday – The Horn, St Albans
- Friday – The Nag’s Head, High Wycombe
- Saturday – Esquires, Bedford
More photo’s and videos have been taken – the results of which should soon be outed
